The Lépine Corporation selected the LRL mechanical and electrical team to aid in the construction of a new high-rise apartment building with amenities such as a swimming pool, meeting rooms, a fully equipped gym, and a two-storey underground parking garage. 

The mechanical and electrical team installed a central heat pump system with common area energy recovery ventilator units, a backup generator, and central hot water for the apartment living areas. 

As the mechanical and electrical consultant, LRL collaborated with the client, the architect and contractors to develop a cost-efficient building meeting the client's expectations. This project was developed and completed as a design-build and finished within budget and on schedule.

Within this project, the LRL team was also tasked with:

• Reviewing all available background data
• Participating in regular design meetings
• Preparing detailed mechanical and electrical engineering designs
• Communicating with the architect and client
• Providing construction management services to assist the client and their sub-trades in tackling challenges
• Conducting regular construction inspections, reports, and the final inspection and certificate
